So I, Ritambhara Sahni have decided to talk and post about various kinds of Belly Dancing Belts, Belly Dance Attire and costuming, and Belly Dance Props. How our students feel wearing them and what many professionals and my belly dance teachers have to say about them. We usually give information about 2 items and so in todays post we shall talk about two kinds of Belly Dancing Belts.

Beaded Belts [ Belly Dance Belts]

These belly dance belts are made only of beads - no coins really here. So again they do not make noise but look great over a costume. Beads can also be blended into a fringe belly dancing belt as i have seen in my collections over the years. Look great on costumes to perform and can be used for clubbing as well. I, Ritambhara Sahni at belly dance institute Mumbai have always felt that the jingle of your belly dance belt \belly dancing hip scarf pulls you towards the dance art and makes you feel 'complete' with the dance art and so do all my belly dance gurus all over the world feel the same.

Tribal Belts [Belly Dance Belts]

Tribal Belly Dance is really my favorite. Being a hip hop dancer and having taught old school and new style hip hop for years, with elements of popping and locking being a part of tribal belly dancing makes me fall in love with this form in a unique way each day. Tribal belly dance looks ' bold' , it makes me feel 'bold and beautiful. So the costuming and belly dance belts used for the same look a bit 'loud' as opposed to the ' beautiful ' looking costumes used in oriental style of belly dancing.

Found this 2 amazing videos on belly dance coin belts and different kinds of belly dancing belts and hip scarves- a different variety of belly dancing belts and i suggest you should watch it - these are really beautiful belly dance coin belts, beaded belts and tribal belts. They definitely do not make much noise on your shimmy but are great over a costume. A beautiful design of gold and silver over a bright colored costume will add wonders to the costume and its color and design.
